COMPANY BACKGROUND.
Since inception in 1999, Filer Medical, LLC has served the medical community, hospitals, occupational health clinics, urgent care facilities, orthopedic specialists and physician’s offices with orthopedic goods and services. The company has grown to seven sales representatives in Indiana, Illinois, California and Florida.
Recently, Filer Medical expanded its business outside of the medical community by offering orthopedic support products such as knee braces, wrist braces, elbow braces and ankle braces through its web site for purchase by the general public. Filer Medical recognizes that the consumer is playing a more active role in the education and decision making process regarding their own health and well-being. In addition to their physician’s recommendations, the consumer is doing their own research on how to treat injuries as a result of playing sports, accidents, the workplace or the general aging process. The Filer Medical web site allows the consumers to make informed decisions on the best products to treat their injury or condition.
DAVID FILER
Growing up in the Midwest, Dave qualified as a nationally ranked junior tennis player. While attending Southern Illinois University on a tennis scholarship, he received both Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Exercise Science. Over the next ten years, Dave worked as an exercise physiologist gaining experience in cardiac rehabilitation, work hardening and corporate fitness.
Deciding it was time to realize a lifelong dream of owning his own business; he founded Filer Medical, LLC in 1999. Dave’s extensive medical work history, sports background and competitive spirit have created a successful orthopedic soft goods distribution business.
David Filer III
David attended Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky with degrees in Business and Accounting. He played basketball and track in high school in Kentucky and basketball and baseball in college.
David worked as a Controller and VP-General Manager for major manufacturers and suppliers to the Manufactured Housing, Recreational Vehicles, and Van Industries. He created two supplier companies of interior products to these industries. He went to work representing Filer Medical, LLC in 2003.
Jason Young
Jason received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville where as an undergraduate played varsity football. He is qualified in Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Chronic Back Pain.
He practices Physical Therapy in a part time outpatient setting. Jason employs his extensive clinical training and experience to placing the proper braces in clinics where they will provide the highest potential benefit to the patient. Jason is a valuable member of the Filer Medical Team.
Dave Stahl
One of Indiana ’s outstanding cross country and track runners, Dave graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in exercise science. He has worked as a manager and personal trainer for a health and wellness center in Northern Indiana and as a wellness coach consultant for a local university.
Dave joined the Filer Medical Team because of his medical background in corporate fitness, wellness, and cardiac rehabilitation. He is passionate about helping people enjoy everyday life and improving their health and wellness through a balance of physical activity and whole food nutrition.
Richard Vandish
Rich attended Eastern Kentucky University and earned degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing. He was a 4-year scholarship athlete on the Eastern Kentucky University tennis team.
Rich has worked in various sales roles in a variety of different industries, including consumer products and packaging. He received various sales awards. These include Hall of Fame and sales person of the year. He has been with Filer Medical for 12 years.

Office Manager
Allison has been in the Healthcare profession for over 25 years, and has worked as a Customer Service Manager for the last 8 years.
Throughout her career, she has always strived to ensure that every customer feels heard, valued, and satisfied. She firmly believes that excellent customer service is not just about resolving issues, but about building trust and relationships.
